International IoT Security Roundtable

CSA and the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy of the Netherlands will be co-tabling an Internet-of-things (IoT) Security initiative to the Global Forum on Cyber Expertise (GFCE) at its 3rd Annual Meeting, to galvanize global efforts to create a safer cyberspace of things ecosystem that is secure from design to disposal. In support of this, an IoT Security Roundtable featuring experts panel discussion will be held on 18th September 2018 (Tuesday) 3.15pm at the Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre (Begonia Main Ballroom 3001A/B – 3103) to discuss the major challenges and way forward to address them.

The programme for the roundtable is as follows:

  • In the first part of the roundtable, experts will exchange current good practices on IoT Security in the main areas of principles, governance and legislation, ecosystem development, and technical references and standards practices.

  • Panel Discussion on IoT Security challenges and way forward
    The second part is a panel of cyber thought leaders from government, academia and industry who will be discussing the challenges in the IoT Security landscape and the way forward in the following areas:
    • Evaluation and Certification
    • Trusted Supply Chain
    • Device Identities and Hardware Security
