The 4th edition of Singapore International Cyber Week 2019 (SICW) - the region’s most established cybersecurity event - is poised once again to be the ideal marketplace to discuss, network, strategise and form partnerships in the cybersecurity space. Bringing together an estimated 10,000 prominent global policy makers, thought leaders and industry experts, the event is the choice platform to advance knowledge exchanges on key cybersecurity issues and solutions. It is a week where governments, industry, and academia converge, bringing together elements such as international law, cyber norms of behaviour, capacity building efforts that make up a secure, trusted and resilient cyberspace.
Taking place from 1st to 3rd October 2019, the theme for 2019 is "Partnerships for Trust and Confidence". It emphasizes once again, SICW's commitment to international and regional cooperation, and advocates a reliable and secure cyberspace. The establishment of a rules-based and norms-based international order in cyberspace can only be based on partnerships and greater cooperation between governments, industry and other stakeholders.
