I am unable to attend the conference – can I get a refund/transfer my registration to another person?

Members of the public will be given a 100% refund if notified before 26 September 2016. No refunds will be given after 26 September 2016. Alternatively, you may transfer your application to another person.

If you are a Public Civil Servant, you should contact the Civil Service College at [email protected] with regards to the cancellation.

Security
What security measurements are in place? What do I need to take note of?

Stringent security measures will be in place due to high profile guests. As such, a valid photo ID is required together with your submission.

During the event day, a valid photo ID and business card must be presented at the registration counter for verification purposes. Photo verification will also be done each time you re-enter the venue.

What is the theme for GovWare 2016?

 “Building a Secure and Resilient Digital Future through Partnership” – the theme is chosen to reflect Singapore’s desire to strengthen our digital future through building robust local and international partnerships.

How big is the conference and what is the typical mix of people?

Based on previous years, we expect a total of 5,000 people with a mix of industry, government and academic.

Can trade visitors attend?

Trade visitors can attend the exhibition on Day 2 and Day 3 at the following timings:
Day 2 (11 October): 1.30pm – 5.30pm
Day 3 (12 October): 11.00am – 5.30pm

Do note that all trade registration can only be done onsite and attendees have to be industry related. Photo ID and business card will be checked upon registration.

I would like to attend the networking session. Do I have to RSVP?

The networking night is available for all attendees. Please refer to www.sicw.sg/govware/networking.html for more details.

Is there a dress code?

The dress code is strictly business wear.

Is there free public Wi-Fi?

Yes, there is free public Wi-Fi available at Suntec Singapore.
